The remaining semifinalists come from the United States, Japan, South Korea, Canada, Switzerland and Germany.
They have been selected from the 36 candidates that took part in the online recital broadcast which concluded on September 14.
Semifinalists will perform in the solo recital round on November 6 and 7, followed by the chamber music round and presentation of the candidates’ artistic projects.
The selected finalists will perform a concerto on November 12 with the Orchestre de la Suisse Romande conducted by Cornelius Meister.
Wojdalska received her early musical training in Warsaw. She then studied at the Royal College of Music in London and in Switzerland. In 2023 she received her master's soloist degree at the Zürcher Hochschule der Künste and is continuing her education there.
A prizewinner of numerous competitions in Poland and abroad, she has performed at such prestigious international venues as Musikverein in Vienna, Wigmore Hall in London, and Tonhalle in Zurich.
Last year she won Second Prize at the Primrose International Viola Competition in Los Angeles.
